Press Release

Yesterday, September 30, UniBios was officially presented to the press. This innovative public-private entity was born from the collaboration between the University of Perugia and Bios-Therapy S.p.A., a spin-off of the Aboca Group. The aim is to develop new sustainable therapeutic technologies based on life sciences, in line with the One Health and HTA (Health Technology Assessment) approaches.

“The University teaches the concepts, but the private company can make them operational. With this collaboration, we can address the new needs of research and healthcare, even in the field of chronic-degenerative diseases and biotechnologies,” stated Cav. Valentino Mercati, CEO of BIOS-THERAPY.

Building on the successes of two clinical studies already underway on Mild Cognitive Impairment and knee osteoarthritis, UniBios is already demonstrating its effectiveness in developing and achieving its medical-scientific objectives.
